Without a Voice

imagean image and meditation

by Swati

We are human, we consider ourselves tall.

We think we are superior to them all.

We crush and steal what’s in our path, to improve our lives,

but take what’s not ours, like forests and hides.

All they want is what they need and that’s to survive,

to play, to feed, to stay alive.

Forced out of their homes, they don’t have a choice.

We deny the needs of the ones without a voice.

Swati is a junior.
